iPad Course – 18th January 2014

All delegates attending this course will need to bring their iPad with them.  It will need to have iOS7 installed on it.  iOS 7 is the latest version of the iPad software.  You will know that you have it if your icons look like the ones on the right hand side of the picture.  If they look like the one on the left hand side, you will need to update your iPad in the settings menus.

Delegates will also need to download the following Apps.  Click on the App Store Icon on your device.  If your device is owned by the school, you may need to ask the school’s technician/ ICT coordinator to help you install the Apps.  Also ask them for the Apple Username and Password for the device so that you are able to download any other Apps that you like the look of/ are added on the day.  Please be advised that some of Apps will need to be purchased, however, many of them are the ones that are being used in schools.

See on Scoop.itIpads in Schools

This is an update to Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy which attempts to account for the new behaviours and actions emerging as technology advances and becomes more ubiquitous. Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy describes many traditional classroom practices, behaviours and actions, but does not account for the new processes and actions associated with Web 2.0 technologies, infowhelm (the exponential growth in information), increasing ubiquitous personal technologies or cloud computing.
